a Citrus Explosion Salad Dressing

Yesterday our Mama went out for tea with a good family friend. While they were sipping their teas and commiserating about winter, her friend asked for a tasty salad dressing recipe. She was sick and tired of the Kraft dressing. Her taste buds begged for something better and more tasty. Our Mama came home inspired and whipped up this dressing in minutes (with the help of Miss Charlotte). It is the perfect winter salad dressing recipe, as it's full of citrus goodness. The base is freshly squeezed grapefruit juice which is great because they are plentiful right now in grocery stores. Plus with all the colds and viruses going around right now, our immune system could always use a little vitamin C booster.

Do you have a favourite salad dressing recipe? Share with us! We love to hear from you.

We dedicate today's recipe to our Mama's friend who is like an Aunty to us. Enjoy!
