DIY Honey Maple Mixed Nuts

A few weeks ago we were at the grocery store around dinner time ( bad timing!) and needed a quick snack. We found a bag of organic mixed nuts in the health food aisle and so splurged. The bag of nuts was around six dollars and only had close to 1/2 cup of nuts. They were definitely tasty but not worth the money. Our resident chef Charlotte looked at the ingredients, looked at our kitchen and whipped up her version of the best mixed nuts! If you need a healthy snack full of protein and good fats, then this recipe is for you. Feel free to also make your own alterations to the nuts, dried fruits etc that you like.
